Each year, Katy ISD receives a number of requests to participate in research studies. Researchers are required to provide a Research Study Application for proposed research projects that fall within the district guidelines for conducting research. The Research Study Application is designed to provide the reviewers with sufficient information in order to reach a decision about the appropriateness of Katy ISD participation in the research project.

Quantitative Research Assessment Tool (pdf) The purpose of the quantitative and qualitative research assessment tools is to provide Research Connections users with a quick and simple means to evaluate the quality of research studies on our site. Syracuse University’s Office of Institutional Research (OIRA) provides leadership in developing and implementing the University’s institutional research and assessment plan to support institutional planning, policy analysis, and program improvement.
CONCLUSIONS: Adoption of a standard research assessment of insomnia disorders will facilitate comparisons among different studies and advance the state of knowledge.
